A dynamic housing partnership between RP, Auxesia Homes and homebuilder, Honey, is celebrating their continued success, having delivered some 56 affordable homes across three schemes in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Auxesia and Honey, established that through a shared synergy, operating model and vision, the duo were able to collaborate successfully, delivering much needed quality affordable homes.

To date, Auxesia has acquired 56 homes, including seven units in Goldthorpe, near Barnsley;   18 units in Matlock, near Chesterfield ; and 31 units in Killamarsh, Sheffield with several other developments in the pipeline. The gross development value of the homes is around £7.1m.

Claire Donnelly, chief executive at Auxesia Homes commented: “We’re incredibly pleased with the evolution of the Auxesia and Honey partnership. As both relatively young enterprises, we own much shared synergy, including a financial structure, that uses private funding to support growth and future development. We are also both incredibly aspirational and innovative in how we manage our wider operation, our processes and delivery.

“Culturally, we share a passion around the homes we create, in the North and the Midlands, supporting the wider need for more quality affordable housing in the North. Our experience throughout this collaboration remains an incredibly positive one, from concept through to delivery, and is a partnership we look forward to building on in the future.”

Honey land and partnerships director, Andy Priestley, added: "Our relationship with Auxesia is a great example of our distinct partnerships model in action. We have an excellent working relationship, and a clear understanding of each other’s businesses. This allows us to successfully partner with each other to provide affordable homes within communities where they are needed, and helps deliver the government’s housing plans.

“Our intention is to further grow the relationship with Auxesia as Honey continues to expand its development footprint throughout Yorkshire and the Midlands.”

Auxesia Homes has secured significant additional investor funding and private funding to support their expansion plans that aims to deliver a further 1,300 homes by 2030.
