Auxesia Homes and Avant Homes join forces to increase affordable housing provision

At Auxesia Homes, we know that delivering high-quality affordable housing is about more than bricks and mortar – it's about building strong partnerships with organisations that share our vision of creating places where people can thrive.

That's why we're delighted to be working with Avant Homes, with our first joint project already making a real difference for local communities.

Working together, Auxesia Homes has secured 17 affordable rent homes at Avant Homes' Oakview Quarter development in Great Eccleston. The development comprises eight one-bedroom apartments, five one-bedroom homes and four three-bedroom homes, all of which will be made available to people in housing need through local authority nominations. The first six properties have already been handed over and are now fully occupied, demonstrating the ongoing demand for quality, affordable homes across the region.

From the outset, the relationship with Avant Homes has been built on collaboration, trust and a shared commitment to delivering positive outcomes. Working closely with Phil Lacey, Group Head of Affordable Housing Delivery, the acquisition process was straightforward and productive, with both organisations taking a pragmatic approach to finding solutions and ensuring the homes could be brought forward efficiently.

For Auxesia Homes, this partnership reflects the organisation's wider commitment to working alongside developers to increase the supply of high-quality affordable housing. Likewise, Avant Homes' ambition to deliver ‘quality homes, for everyone’ and create sustainable communities aligns closely with Auxesia's purpose of providing safe, energy-efficient and affordable homes through strong partnerships with housebuilders.
