In collaboration with Keepmoat Homes, Auxesia Homes is pleased to offer 3 shared ownership properties at the former Swinden Technology Centre, Moorgate Road, Rotherham expected to be complete in Summer 2024.
Our collection of homes includes The Bamburgh 3-bedroom terraced home which provides contemporary living across three cleverly designed floors. The ground floor is a flexible, modern living area with an airy kitchen/diner and lounge with French doors onto the garden. There's a WC and also plenty of storage. On the first floor, you’ll find two bedrooms, a stylish family bathroom and a lobby area. The second floor is dedicated to the impressive master bedroom with en suite and more storage space. The property also comes with 2 off-street parking spaces.
Located in the leafy suburban area of Moorgate in Rotherham, this stunning new development offers a superb choice of homes finished to an excellent standard, making it the ideal choice for first-time buyers, growing families and downsizers.
What makes Moorgate Boulevard such a desirable place to live is its location from the tree-lined avenue that runs from its entrance to the heritage buildings located on-site and open green spaces for all to enjoy.
Set on the outskirts of Rotherham, a wealth of shops, services and schools are on the doorstep. Plus, it’s handy for the motorway, making commuting a breeze.
What is Shared Ownership?
Shared ownership is a government-backed scheme, designed to make stepping onto the property ladder more affordable. Buy between 25% - 75% of a home normally with a mortgage and a reduced deposit, and pay a low-cost rent on the remaining un-purchased share.
Am I eligible to buy a home with shared ownership?
The eligibility criteria for shared ownership is simple; as long as you don't currently own, or won't own another property when you move into a new home, you're likely to qualify. Your annual household income must not exceed £80,000 and you'll need to have savings to cover typical purchasing costs such as solicitors fees and your mortgage deposit.
Local connection tests also apply meaning you must have a strong connection to the area, being your current residence, immediate family, or work.
